Meet the Extraspace Solutions team

Conor Hanratty, Managing Director

Conor Hanratty has overall responsibility for the operations and financial management at Extraspace Solutions.

He has a BSc (Hons) and a vast amount of experience in modular buildings, offsite construction and general management. Conor was Managing Director of Extraspace from 1994-2004 and rejoined as Managing Director in March 2008.

Paul Tierney of Extraspace SolutionsPaul Tierney, Director

Paul Tierney’s role within the company is as Sales Director, with particular responsibility for growth of our modular building business in the UK market.

Paul began working in the Accounts Department of Extraspace Solutions in 1990, while studying to become a Chartered Accountant. He was Managing Director from 2003 to 2008 and continues to oversee the significant growth in Extraspace Solutions.

Ray Doyle of Extraspace SolutionsRay Doyle, Financial Controller

Ray Doyle has worked in Extraspace Solutions for over 14 years, joining from Intel Ireland in 1993.

He has worked the majority of his time in Extraspace Solutions in the accounts department until he was promoted to the position of Financial Controller.

Phillip Hutton of Extraspace Solutions BelfastPhillip Hutton

Operating from our Belfast office, Phillip Hutton has significantly increased our growth in the UK market for modular building solutions.

Since 2004, Extraspace Solutions has been awarded the OGC Framework Supplier Agreement for public sector work, and has expanded significantly into the UK. Phillip joined Extraspace Solutions in 2004 and has been in the modular building industry since 1990.

Alan Scanlan of Extraspace SolutionsAlan Scanlan

Alan Scanlan has significantly increased our share in the south of Ireland over the past six years of the market for modular building and offsite construction. The Munster operation now fields a strong sales and administration team supported by excellent on-site service crews.

Alan joined Extraspace Solutions as General Manager for the south of Ireland in 2002, having worked in sales and management since 1988.

Ronan Smyth of Extraspace Solutions UK operationsRonan Smyth

Ronan Smyths role as Regional Director has involved expanding within the UK market for advance modular buildings, particularly in the local government, education and health sectors.

Ronan started with Extraspace Solutions in October 2004 as a Sales Executive, and was promoted to the position of Business Development Manager in 2008 and most recently to Regional Director in 2012. He has recently completed projects for St. Peters Hospital, Chertsey and a 800sqm Acute Assessment Unit for North Hampshire & Basingstoke NHS Trust

Stevin Tedstone of Extraspace SolutionsStevin Tedstone

Stevin Tedstone is our Productions Manager. He ensures all projects in our factory meet the highest standard and quality.

Stevin recently headed up the procurement of our new manufacturing and offsite construction factory. The facility will begin operation in the coming months, bringing shorter lead times in project turnaround.

Martin Chambers

Martin is our Quantity Surveyor with a diploma in Civil Engineering. Martin is with Extraspace Solutions since 2002 and oversees our project design and development. Martin also ensure that all our projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
